North East SSoM Members!!!

Thanks to all of you guys for coming over today, it meant a lot to me to get a few extra hands to get it running once again. I got the rear end bolted back up after you guys left and connected the prochamber up. Tomorrow I'm going to get the drive shaft hooked back up, the sway bar and put the tires back on it. I'll see if there is anyway I can get the mufflers connected and on a set of hangers so that maybe I can at least drive it to the exhaust shop to get the system figured out. Just have to bleed the brakes and I can at least drive it. Its still pretty loud w/ the prochamber hooked up but not as bad as right off the long tubes.

Thanks again guys.

Great job venom! You now have a 400 hp pop-corn machine! :D

yeah I agree Im not going to mess with it. I dont have a lift or the experience to fab up a custom exhaust set up so I'll leave it to them. Just have to decide if I actually want to drive it there or not. Wish there was a way to at least get the mufflers on it to quiet it down a little more then Id feel ok driving it but I dont want to pay to have it towed over to Gorham either.

Thats ok. I got the exhaust dumped today. I think that with the cats it just may be quite enough even w/ out the tail pipes. I almost got the whole set up to work. I was a few inch's short from reaching the hanger for the muffler. All that extra that we thought had to be cut off the flow tube does not. The muffler slide in quite far and took up all that extra. But it would still not line up properly, I messed with it for awhile and just said screw it and dumped it.

Started to bleed the brakes but the caliper is leaking so I'm not sure whats wrong w/ it or if it needs to be replaced.

Haha turner. That things a beast!

Going to try and get mine down to NH this coming tues. Have to re tighten all the header bolts they started to back out and re do the thermostat gasket since its leaking a little. Few other minor issues to sort out but over all I should have it running well enough to take it down to NH. I took it out last night but it just fell on its face. I had to take the upper intake off to redo some of the vac lines and when doing it all the connections to the TPS came undone and I did not know the right way they all connected back together. Needless to say I did not do it right, it idled fine but it had no power at all. I know how they go now so I'll take care of that and give it another test run on monday if it is not raining to bad.

hopefully everything is OK and you get a break in the rain.
You still taking it to a muffler shop for the sticker and finishing off the exhaust so it exits out back?

Thats the plan but I'm having the shop in NH do it, I just want to drop it off somewhere and have everything done that needs to be done...exhaust...tune. I'll get the sticker once I get it back here. I'll just get it registered for now.

That was nice and toasty.

once I get out of windham there are not many cops around at all. Cumberland county patrols this area a lot and windham does windham but from there to portland you usually dont see many. I'll just hit the interstate in westbrook and I should be fine.

TPS wires are connected fine runs/idles like it did at the initial start up. The spark plug wires that were on back order came in today, I'll put them on tomorrow its down pouring out side right now ( Thunder storms). The car drove a lot better w/ the TPS wires being correct but I'm pretty sure its running pig rich, does not have much power wise and it smells like fuel a lot. The tune should take care of everything. The driver side brake pads were grinding on the rotor, took that off today and one of the clips that holds the pad was all messed up. The pads barley fit in the caliper with out the clips, with the clips it push's them out of place and ends up pinning the pad to the rotor. They are hawk pads and SSBC brakes. I took the messed up clip off and they fit in just fine w/ out the other one. So thats one other issue taken care of.

Have not been able to make it to the dyno shop yet, he has been on vacation. He is calling me on monday so I hope I can get it down there this weds or thurs and have him finish up the exhaust and get the cats on it and then I'll go back down when its ready to be dyno tuned.
