Tick At Idle...

After over revving the motor at the track the car has developed a tick at idle. I missed a shift and although i have a rev limiter im sure it actually rev'd way past that. I have pulled the driver side valve cover rockers it all looks and seems ok, i have ran a bore scope down the cylinder and too looks on. It started on the #8 cyl and is now only on the #4 cyl. I took it to the local dealership and we put exhaust gaskets on it to fix the small leak, but it still has a tick at idle. Its somewhat hard to hear due to the cams but its there and driving me crazy. Any help or ideas would be great!
