When ever I come to a stop the idle sits at 1000 for a second then drops to around 500 for a second than returns to 1000. I was thinkin mabey the IAC is sticking a little. Any advice? Thanks

I really have no way of knowing anything more that what you put in the post. But I was just trying to make a funny. Or perhaps I have had one too many guy push back on replacing PVC values because they don't think something as simple as a PVC value could possibility cause their problems.

If I offended you, I'm sorry. Was the advice worth the price of a small "dust up"?

Really!? Wow, I guess I should have just known that after owning the car for four days. Way to make someone feel welcome to the forum.

Woah... Calm it! Give it some time and youll find that wmburns is the GOD of mustang troubleshooting, and he was trying to help you.

Welcome to stangnet. The 4.6 forum is very chilled out these days.

Ok I replaced the pcv and it still does it. Seems to be worse when its cold. Would it be worth it for me to take the IAC off and try to mabey clean it? Or should it be replaced? Thanks
