I've taken my 5.0 the track twice now...it's a base GT M6 only options were 3.73s and stripe delete. It has a C&L CAI, Roush Axle backs, Bama tune and now Boss intake. Full weight etc..
First time out, same mods above but without the Boss intake and on the semi bald 235 stock Pirellis it went 12.9@116 with a 2.2ish 60'. I was spinning through 3rd, it was a mess.
Second time last week, took it back to the track in the 100 degree heat with the Boss intake and now with some borrowed 275 wide M/T drag radials...went 12.5@114 with consistent low 1.8 60's.
I think with colder air/not hot lapping etc and a bit more practice with the new power band low 12s should be cake.
