I am installing some LED lights on the interior. I have it all set and wires fed through their respective spots. I am trying to crimp it with the headlamps, so that when I turn on the lamps, the interior lights turn on as well. However, the Haynes manual I purchased said that the head lamps on wire was red/white. I clipped and crimped and did it all, and nothing. I tested it after the failed attempt and left the wire separate and the lamps still came on? Does anyone know which wire that goes into the switch actually turns on the head lamps? Thanks! Nate.

Its an 06' V6 Standard Coupe. I figured it out! I bought the test light and it turns out the only wire that had any 12v power was the yellow/brown cable, which in turn is the light dimmer for when you turn on your parking lamps. I spliced those wires all together and now when I sit with my park lamps on, the interior lights are on as well, and they dim too. So its an added bonus. Thanks for help guys! Here's a pic!
With this led installation, I also took apart the dash/console area to throw in that Pioneer radio. Pretty excited about it!
