Do Stangnet members still get a 10% discount at UPR? Is this a code you add on their site or something?
Fun street car with an emphasis on straight line performance. It's not a race car, but I want to do well at the track. It's not my primary or daily driver, but I dont want to handle like a basket case when I take the wife and kids out in it. I want to start with the suspension before I do any major motor mods. I've installed full length UPR subframes, lower torque boxes, and Comp. Eng. adj. rear shocks.
Right now its a stock motor, smog deleted, shortys, h-pipe, 73mm, SPT1 valve body and hopefully 4.10's in a few days. I have stock piled iron GT40's, and an Explorer intake. Those will get installed when I decide if I'm going to change the cam or not. I plan on a power adder, but that's going to be a while and I haven't decided on Nitrous or Blower.
I'd like to do the suspension once, I was thinking UPR standard lowers and adj. uppers? What do you think? Are the pro-street too radical?
boostfrk, did you go with the standard ones? I'm stuck on whether or not to go with the adjustables? Their pro street ones have poly adj. uppers and double adjustable lowers with poly on the axle side and heim joint on the chassis side. Don't know that I need all that. Wondering if they would do a package with standard lowers and adj. uppers?
Rick91GT, what would that combo cost? Elite lowers with adj. poly uppers. Need housing bushings too.
