Hi all, my gf has a 2007 v6 mustang with about 45,000 miles on it (for sale too). It makes a noise from the front-right side of the car when driving, the noise increases in frequency the faster you go. It's kind of like something is rotating, and metal hitting metal.

The tire pressure monitor fault gauge is up too, but tire pressure is ok. I know it's because the front right tire isn't spinning properly. What can you guys recommend to fix this? Thanks in advance!

I think if it was something inside the tire then it would increase in frequency as you speed up until a certain point and then get quiet as the part gets held against the tire by centrifugal force. This might be what is happening but he didn't say it stopped at higher speed.
What do you mean the tire isn't spinning properly? Like it is dragging on something? Is it a clunking noise or grinding?

Thanks for the responses.

By the tire not spinning properly I merely meant the noise...sorry about any confusion.

I'm going to try and rotate the tire with the drivers rear tire to see if the noise transfers, else I know it's from the suspension...

If it is something in the tire you can just take it off and roll it on the floor and see if it makes noise. If the wheel is rubbing on something you will see a shiny spot on the wheel I would think. Make sure the tire is not rubbing on the wheel well, mine does with the wheel turned all the way, but I run 18x10 wheels with 275 width tires.
