Looks like I'm gonna be able to pass on the Stang love

Congratulations! I have 2 girls 8 and 3 and they both love my mustangs. If I don't pick the 3 year old up from daycare in one of them she gets upset. Also have a 5 month old boy so we'll see how much more car stuff I can get away with in years to come with the wife because of bonding time with the kids.

Just stumbled on this thread, congrats Jinx! I hope for your sake you have a little boy. My son is so much fun! He calls my new mustang "rocket" from little einsteins, and does the "ready, set, go Dad!" from the back seat already. Nothing makes me smile more than hearing my little guy squeal and giggle from the back seat after a 2nd-3rd gear pull, and he just turned two!

Thanks guys. Matt she should be starting her 2nd trimester in the next week or 2 I think. Had her first doctors appt last night. Dr. says so far everything looks good. Tried to hear a heartbeat but didn't hear anything yet. He said at this point it's like a 50/50 chance that you will hear anything. We were both disappointed but I guess it's normal sp we shall see in a few weeks

Late to the party, but congrats nonetheless!

As far as boy vs. girl, I've got one of each, a 24 y/o son, and a 19 y/o daughter. Both have the Stang bug, but of the two, the girl is more of the car nut. Son drives an 06, but Shelbi has her eye on my 95 (she knows the 67 is out of the question), and dates a guy driving an 04 Mach.

Boy or girl, your kid can enjoy the car game! Both of mine grew up on snowmachines, and can ride and drive very well. Just take the time to have fun with your kid, and show them the fun of playing with cars. You'll have a blast!

Beings I stumbled apon this while lurking I'll post an update.

Been a interesting ride, Gf was having some pains was told to to get a ultrasound they said everything was ok then got a call from the dr to go to the ER. They found nothing that time. Few months later same thing so got checked and the dr said all was ok. Seen a different dr a couple days later and she said we were at risk for preterm labor. The next week se takes all her restrictions off (not happy with that dr). We are in week 27 next Friday will be the starting of 28.

Also we found it's a girl. She her name is gonna be Addison

10 weeks to go... I'm wishing the best for you man. Don't let her do anything that you can do for her till the baby comes. Dr. or no Dr. restrictions.

It's more of work letting her go easy. She works for a place that could careless about anybody (as do most places) and her boss is a bitch. Her boss has already told her that if she didn't have restrictions that she was gonna make her do her full job.

I do most of the stuff around home for her, I'm pretty protective lol

He can be kicked in the nuts. Juss Sayin'.

I too work in a place like that, and it drives me nuts. Some things in life should be respected, and labor/child birth is one of them. Its such a special thing. That being said, get your sleep for the next 10 weeks before that little girl comes and doesnt let you get any!
