Steering Wheel Replacement In 2011 Mustang

I bought my daughter a 20011 V6 mustang with the sport package. The steering wheel only has the cruise control buttons on it. My question is, I have found a steering wheel off of a 2011 mustang that has the stereo buttons on it along witht the cruise controls.. Can I take this steering wheel and install it on my daughter mustang and have all the controls function(radio,cruise). Im hoping all the wiring for the controls of the steering wheel buttons are there just not hook up. Any help would be great.

Yes, you can install it, but you may need to take it to the dealer to have the stereo controls activated.

This is correct. The dealer MAY tell you it can't be done, but that is BS. There is an audio control module that needs to be reprogrammed and the audio controls, etc, plug into there.
