I joined up on here many years ago...just don't post much.

Here are a couple shots of our 2001 GT. We bought it new in 2001 and she's only got 60k miles on it. We've now got 3 cars, so it only gets driven on occasion. Still a great car...lot's of fun.

Regardless, I'm posting because I want some new wheels. My wife really likes the ones we have, so I agreed to keep 'em...but if I'm keeping these, then I want something wider and meaner. So I'm trying to find some 17x10.5" rims for the back. I've posted in the classifieds, but I've found some on American Muscle's site and could easily go for them.

So my question is...have any of you dealt with/bought wheels from American Muscle? Are they good quality? Anyone have any issues with AM wheels after a year or so of owning them?

I've bought a couple parts from AM and they were decent...but wheels are a bit more costly, and I'd like to be sure I'm getting decent quality.

If you know of any other good companies to buy from, let me know that too so I can check into them.

I bought my FR500's with tires on e-bay from a company called OE Wheels LLC. The following link is a link to the set I bought: (http://www.ebay.com/itm/18-9-10-Fit...ruck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr#ht_3748wt_1002)

I was very impressed with the quality of the wheels and for $1000 with free shipping the cost couldn't be beat. I wasn't real impressed with the Nexen tires, especially the rears as they were too small, but no-one came close to their price point so I'm very happy. I've had them on my car now for about 2 years and they still look brand new. The finish and quality were both excellent.

I've had a set of 17x10.5 rear and 17x9 front FR500's with Nitto NT555 315's in the back and 275s up front for almost 2 years now from AM. Excellent quality, if you buy tires with them they come balanced and ready to bolt on straight out of the box. I think they carry a one year warranty on the finish as well.

Car look great! Can I suggest a mach1 chin spoiler and front grill delete to really set your car off!

I think even wheel spacers would help the look out alot as it sits. Add in about a 3/4" spacer to the wheel and maybe finding some stickers for the center caps would definitely change a car a ton.

I had a full inch spacers on my car but it definitely hindered the tires as the would rub and kill the sidewalls..

I ordered me a pair of 17x10.5" wheels/tires from AM. Hopefully I'll have them early next week sometime and I'll be sure to post up some more current pics.

I spent the bigger part of Sunday giving her a long overdue spring detail...claybar, and lot's of TLC with my Poorboy's products. Hoping to finish up the polishing this week and get some fresh wax on her. I also ordered a Noah brand car cover for her so she'll be all ready to be tucked away for the winter months.
