Well Guys I have had a tranny shifting problem in my car since I bought it. It would shift into overdrive very quickly usually by the time I was hitting 35mph. I recently installed a B&M Shift kit and a 2300 Stall Converter to it and was still getting the same shifting problems. I looked at the cable and found that it was worn out and stretched. I just bought a replacement cable from LRS Here is a link to it

I will take some pics and post them as I swap it out. I figure there has to be more of us having the same problem??

I will take some photos and keep you posted on the progress looks like a fairly simple job. Brian

Ok Install took about thirty minutes longer than it should have. After playing around trying to get the cable into the bracket on the transmission I found that the whole bracket can be removed and made the job tons easier. Total time spent 45-50 minutes.

Here is what the kit looks like.

This little 8mm screw needs to be removed and a clip installed then reattached to the big bracket.
