So I looked at my title and did a carfax on my car and it came up as GT/GTS. I really didn't know much about them till google stepped in but I can't seem to find anyway to find out for sure after reading a few threads on some forums. Anyone know a way to tell for sure?

My car has power nothing besides mirriors and I'm pretty sure the 6-cylinder interior. No fog lights, no power seats, locks or windows, no ABS, and no Mach 1 stereo just AM/FM Cassette. It does have a wing but I read that was a option for a GTS. The door jam sticker says 3090 for the weight which I think is roughly 400 lbs lighter then the regular GT.

Here is a picture of the interior.

Hey Chad, all that you have listed points towards a GTS. From what I've read over the years, a GTS was a v6 equivalent with a 302 in it. In the GT's, someone correct me if I am wrong, they came through with power everything. Unfortunately, the Carfaxs arent great in helping pin-point the difference between the two, however its always good to have for piece at mind.

Post up some more pictures of the car, I'm sure everyone else would like to see it. Good luck with the car and keep us posted on your progress. That car has the same exhaust setup mine had when I originally purchased it, killer sound IMHO.

Yes, you have a GTS. The seats and roll up windows are dead give away. Does it have a rear wing? If it does many people added it because the car looked incomplete without it. My title doesn't say GT/GTS, says GT.

Affirmative on the rear wing. I think friday I'll dig through it and see if i can find a build sheet for it. Car is 100% original. It had the original plugs and wires on it still. I gave it a tune up and different exhaust but besides that I haven't done anything else yet. The guy I got it off of bought it brand new and kept it in a garage lucky for me. Even has the original paint on it. Digging around on it today I even found ford stickers on the bottom of the inside of the doors with the VIN numbers on it. I think I got pretty lucky for a completely rust free car for $3500.

Agreed, you've got a GTS. I believe all 95 GT's also say GT/GTS, since there's nothing in the VIN that would indicate that it was a GTS. I couldn't find hillie16's old web site, but I did find a forum that reposted much of his GTS info:

Correct, mine says GT/GTS when doing a VIN Search...

Chad Hensley, very nice car. Very clean, undercarriage seems like its in excellent condition. I'd personally say a good pickup @ only $3,500. How many miles on it?

It has 126k now. It really drives like a new car, no rattles no squeeks.. let go of the wheel at 75 on the highway and you go straight.

I ended up running a vehicle report which only cost a buck by the way and here it what it said. No wrecks either so that's good news.
