Everyones always told me that carbs are easier to fix and adjust but not sure.

I'm thinkin your odometer has already rolled over and you are at 169,000 miles.
I just don't see a 19 year old car with only 69,000 being converted to carb for any reason.

IF you spend it wisely and do all your own work, then you could probably do a GT40 head swap and 303 cam within that budget. You may have to wait to do your exhaust and everything else, but it would be a great place to start

Carbs easier to work on? Computers work on themselves.

Except when the TFI module or PIP sensor dies and leaves you stranded at the roadside far away from home with an engine that refuses to start. Might have been what prompted the previous owner to do the carb conversion.

Actually the body of the car has 69,000 on it, but the motor has somewhere around 90,000 on it, it used to be a v6 but then got converted over to a v8 and thats when he carbd it, honestly i wish it was a efi car cause i drive it alot.
