Found a cheap s trim that was previously on a Lincoln lsc 5.0. Just curious if anyone knows if it will bolt right up to my 88 notch with out any modifications? I would imagine its all the same brackets etc. as the standard 87-93 5.0 v1 s trim. Thanks in advance

I was under the impression those were non-ho motors with the intakes facing the drivers side. May be way off base here but if that's the case the brackets and piping may be wrong

Im thinking they are the same engine as the mustang,

I swore the same, except that they were HO engines. It's been probably fifteen years since I've had the opportunity to look under the hood of one though.

i was under the hood of a 90 lincoln and it was not a ho although it was a 5.0. intake was reversed. apparently the 88-92 Lincoln MK7 HO 5.0 will work though for alot of direct swap parts.

my bad i was arm deep in a 1990 5.0 crown vic... not the lincoln. but the mk7 is an ho engine.

Hey guys do you know if 87-93 weatherstripping and window belt line will fit a 84 model? Sorry if its a dumb question I didnt want to make a thread for it......Thanks
This is the wroooong thread, bud.
It's ok to make a thread for simple questions. It's done all the time. One little question can end up making a big discussion so go ahead, you won't be hurtin' anybody. Put it in the Talk section, that's probably where it should be posted.

so I should be in the clear as long as the intake was facing the right way/it came off of a h.o. motor? I cant find a Lsc specific kit from vortech anywhere so I'm guessing it is
an original foxbody kit.

I've had 3 of these cars...Even did a 351 swap on one. The 88-92 are H.O. 225hp roller motors. The 84-87 were not roller. The only difference is none ever came with Mass air.
