This is about the neatest thing. I love photos like these, it's weird, to see this cars when they were 20 or so grand for a regular package and thinking now they're at a basis of 4 grand for a mint one. It's so amazing how its changed.

20 or so grand? Kinda high, I have the original window sticker for my '87 hatch. Standard price (with 2.3 4cyl., no options) $8690.00. As my car is, optional equipment: 5..0L EFI HO V-8 engine pkg. - $1885.00, Air Conditioner - $788.00, Stereo Delete credit - -$206.00. Vehicle & options - $11157.00, Destination & Delivery - $374.00. Total sticker price was $11531.00. The funniest thing though is the estimated annual fuel cost is only $750. I wish that was still true!
Edit- Sorry for going off topic, love the old pics, I unfortunately don't have any myself, but would love to see some more!! Just too cool!

These pics really bring back memories of the day in December of 1988 when I bought my '88 GT vert off the lot at Crown Ford in Roswell Ga.
I'll also never forget the test drive. I just knew I was buying a racecar. LOL

Costed me a whopping $17,600 bucks.

sorry, forgot, inflation calculator so 8690 back in 87' in the equivalent to 17,623 grand today.
and at your total sticker cost of 11531 it would be 23,384 grand in today's money. 20 grand!:D

I remember those days...
The closest thing I have is dealership brochures from the showroom lobbies.

I remember the dealership I visited in 82 that still had a brand new 72 Pantera in the showroom.
I wonder if they ever sold that...
