Like most new Mustang owners (well new to me), I was looking for an easy, cheaper way to throw some extra power at it.

From the delivery date I started getting the "itch". The doctor (google) told me to just go spend money I don't really have and make my car a little more fun. So I did..

Stumbled across a site and gave it a shot. Before I did I asked some local websites and friends that might have dealt with them and their feedback was all great. One of my co-workers actually had some work done there back in June and they gave him a coupon code for their site or future in-store purchases. I used it and it worked for me as a new customer too. Ordered a new SCT Livewire TS for $569.05 before tax. Not bad considering everywhere is $599.00-up. Passed the code off to my buddy and he ordered a Magnaflow Catback for his Coyote and got the discount as well.

Anyways, the point is sites like this (StangNet) are few and far between and I feel like I should pass-it-on to the Mustang Community.

Give it a shot, or blow it off. Either way I felt like I needed to post it up.

Might have to start modding the PSD soon too.

Have to agree about the benefits of Mustang forums, and particularly StangNet. I've joined a couple of new sites with the new car, but honestly like StangNet the best... Just not many folks on here with Shelbys.

Seems like a lot of the Shelby owners on other sites aren't "Mustang" guys, but bought Shelby's to replace their previous go-fast car (Vette, Viper, Camaro, Z, ...). Not that there's anything wrong with that, but they don't seem to "get it" about being a Mustang owner. We all take care of each other, whether our car is a first gen, a Fox, SN95, Cobra, or plain jane. You like Mustangs? Great! Me too! All of them. I've loved them for 30 years; I'm a fanboy and damn proud of it. And I like your car too! I'm blessed right now to have an empty nest and a budget that allows me to have a nice stable, but I'm just as excited to help young guys mod their car, whatever era, trim level, and condition.

Join the fellowship, help one another, and if you're going to be a jerk, do it with a bow-tie on. :p

Thanks OP for sharing with the masses.

Yea I bleed blue all the way.

My first car was a foxbody Lincoln mark vii cause my mother wouldn't let me own a Mustang for a first car lol..

When I found out all of the similarities between the two, I was bitten..

Love all Gens of mustangs, hell even the pinto versions are cool at times.

Ive owned 3 Mark vii's 2 Crashed and 1 burned... Great cars! I still have a 3" Fiberglass cowl hood made for a Mark vii. One day i'll build another.....One day lol

I've owned 27 Mark VII's since 94 lol.. My last one was a White on Raven Int. 87.

Threw some 95 waffle stars and tricked out the air ride with a controller that operated each bag and pump on demand, then built a single 67mm turbo kit and MAF conversion to it.

Traded the car for a 92 coupe 5.0/5spd.

I wanna build another bad but I can't find them for what I want to pay. Thought about building a MK8 but they do not hold up to the 7's imo.
