I just read far enough to see you got your insurance, so this post is really surplus...
I insure through USAA, and they sub-contract older cars out to another specialty classic insurer, I am not sure who.
However, I didn't care for the restrictions, and some people may not even be able to meet the restrictions.
Things like the car never being left alone unless it is secured inside a locked garage, or strict mileage and usage limits.
However, most states "classic" or "antique" tags have similar restrictions... Most states, especially the ones with great perks and money savings on registering the car, limit use to really ambiguous situations like "special occasions", "parades", and ect, while specifically banning driving to "work", "bad weather", or "daily".
Just a heads up to keep an eye on the restrictions.
If you break the insurance restrictions, you can be denied a claim, or if you break the state restrictions, it can be used to increase the revenue of the local law enforcement, especially if they WANT a reason to bother you.
