Hi guys & gals long story short, I used to be a member here about 9 years ago sold my Mustang and regretted it, Now the itch is back, lol. I came across a 90 auto Mustang convertible GT for about $2k it has about 146,xxx miles the top is in good condition and the motor seems good it actually has the stock air filter box and tube, It drives real well but its salvage,I ran a carfax but it does not say it has been in an accident at all, What do you guys think???

Well anything is a better deal than what I paid for mine..

88 GT Convertible, 5 Spd, Stock 302, 150xxx miles. Surface rust, crappy tires, faded paint, but it runs perfect. Paid almost 2500 bucks...

Whats it worth to you? Any Pictures?

Not yet but it's bone stock, If I do decide to purchase it which I will probably ill post some pics in the next few days. Right now I'm just surprised that now one really posts any new threads anymore I remember back in the days this forum was always active.

There will be temporary lulls, like until we tear into stuff over the winter. There's almost always great help for questions.

I was away for a while as well, and I remember when a thread you posted today was on the third page by tomorrow. The cars are getting older my friend. That's why its OUR job to keep the posts coming! Pics and all.

It's funny to see all of this old timey talk I wasn't apart of:p

It bugs the crap out of me when I posted in the sn95 5.0 forums and there's little reply. Because just 2 or 3 years ago there was suppoesdly massive activity that I missed;/ Mostly because it wasn't to whole platforms of mustangs behind, just one, and that one was jointed with it.
Now the foxbodys are 3 and 4 (for the 4 eyed) platforms behind. Working on 4 and 5 come 2014's new release.

On with the title thing, my title is salvaged too, but my car wasn't in a wreck, it was in a police arrest. So when I bought it from the impound it was counted as salvaged. Same for lost titles when transfering owners Ithink it's salvaged then too.

I would check very thoroughly for rot. Open your door and check where the quarter panel and doors meets and also check at the bottom of where your strut tower is located insude the motor. I have a 90 gt vert and these are some of the areas I over looked when I purchased mine. Although my stang may look nice on the outside she does have the cancer. And yes mine was also a salvage title. I would also check to make sure your rear quarter windows work,if the heater core is still hooked up and you got heat, A/C, door locks, remote mirrors etc.If your not into looking to restore or correct some of the rot I would look elsewhere. Also remeber these cars are getting older by the day and hard to find in decent condition. Hth a little.:burnout:
