I need some assistance. Opinions welcome

I have a 2007 Mustang GT, Grabber Orange with 12 inch Black Lemans Stripes.

I bought her with painted wheels, all black. Although I do like the way it looks in all black, I would have preferred them factory painted, not self-painted. The tires on the current wheels are in perfect condition, very "new". So, at this time, I am just looking to replace the wheels only and transfer my current tires to the new wheels. They are the stock wheels, and the tire size is 235/55/ZR17.

The following links all show the ideas that I have as shown on a similar color/style as my car for a reference.

Once I have the money saved up, I would really like to get a staggered set from American Muscle (http://www.americanmuscle.com/blackbullittmotorsport-18in-0512-stag.html).

I am looking for your help in deciding which style/color to go with to make the beast look her best. (and by "best", I mean, her "meanest".)

Thanks in advance.

I'm a fan of the Bullitt wheels. If you don't mind looking outside the solid 5 spoke, those Foose wheels on AM look pretty mean, IMO. On a side note, assuming your avatar is a pic of your mustang, I doubt those are 12" stripes. Looks more like 8" to me. I put 12" on mine a couple days ago and they miss the hood vents by less than an inch and would cover the fog lamps if pulled all the way down.

I took a guess on the size. couldn't find my tape measure. lol

I checked out the Foose wheels. Im not a big fan of 20" rims, nor the price :O_o:

I like the black with chrome lip look. If you really want the staggered look, why not keep saving and do it once?

To be honest, I can't stand the way the rims look now, and the back left rim looks like it hit a curb REAL hard.

I am thinking of going with the first style I listed and still getting the staggered black/chrome so I have options instead of both rim sets being black. You know.

While not the same color, I believe the rims I bought for my 05 GT were 17x9 Cobra-R black centers

Well if you need to save up the funds to get the ones you really want try a short term solution...Have you ever looked at the plastic dip, seem some that turned out real nice. Check it on youtube if you haven't. Just an option to entertain

The current ones are Plasti-Dipped. I peeled it off one of the wheels to see what was under it. It's painted black over stock. I was told that I could user lacquer thinner to remove the paint and get back to the original wheel. Not sure if that would harm the stock finish tho. Any thoughts on that?

eeek. I would make sure I researched it good b4 i used a lacqueer thinner. Old trick I find works alot of stuff is wd40, spray it on and alot of stuff will scrub off with it.... That's what I would try first
