Resurrection Finally!

So I've been wanting to get my project started for 4 years and before I start I have some thoughts and questions. To start I've always lurked around never posting much, but with this project I'm gonna update when ever I get anything accomplished and of course post up pictures. I have a few questions that I need everyones input on. First, sadly I've had a fordstrokers.com 347 Liberator short block on a motor stand for almost 4 years, it was wipped down with oil and turned over once I realized it would be sitting for a while. My question is should I do anything other than checking endplay and torque of all bolts before putting it together. On a side note Jim was awesome to do busness with. I ordered my motor while he was moving to a bigger shop, and had a long wait in the end he shipped it free of cost. Now that's customer service! First on my list is to get my car stripped down and get it painted. Has anyone used LMR's smothe front fender aprons and have any advice for hiding all of the wiring from the strut towers forward? Now for some recent pic's.

Ive used lmr fender aprons but before you do that look at scott rod fab they look better imo the lmr is nice but the way they form the metal you can see wrinkles and stretch marks and for the wire hiding are you getting the main looms hidden that are by the firewall?

It's been hard to see my motor on the stand especially since its in my bedroom. I'm gonna leave the firewall alone just hide everything else, its my first attempt at this and I'm doing it all by my self so I want to keep it simple. Thanks for everyone's input and I'll keep y'all updated. Going to Harbor Freight today to pick up some things.

Thanks, those do look alot better than the LMR's probably gonna go in that direction, and their $15 cheeper.:)

They are nice but they are gonna come all balled up in a box so i would lay it out and let it lay flat for a day or so or else youll have ugly folds in the floorboards

Oh crap sorry i thought this was a different thread about ass back carpet my bad haha but yeah thos aprons are nice i really like them on mine and are real easy to put in to just alot of spot welds

I'm getting ready to start tearing into my project, other than pull the drive train what else should I take off or leave on prior to taking it to paint? Other than the obvious stuff(window trim, front/rear bumpers and all other gt body stuff). Should I get all of my wiring hiding done first or wait until it comes back? Input from anybody that has done this before is appreciated.

Well not a huge step but got some stuff from Harbor Freight and made a bench. Think I'm get a cart later. Sucks starting from scratch with a new garage, I've had to a re-buy bunch of small stuff. I'm getting ready to get some stuff done today before I go to work tonight.
