Electrical Wipers won't work

I'm helping my dad sell his mustang - it's a 2003 V6 with only 37K miles on it. I'd like to get it inspected first, however the windshield wipers won't work. The wipers themselves won't move, however the windshield washer fluid will squirt (if it makes a difference).

I've checked the 40amp fuse under the hood, as well as the 30amp fuse near the driver's knee, and both look fine.

The radio was removed from this car, and I need to find a replacement (I mention this because I've heard it shares a ground with the wiper motor).

Any idea where I should start troubleshooting?

Thanks

The wiring diagrams call out different connectors with different radio combinations. For example, the BK/PK run/park circuit runs through connector C1046 with the Premium radio. The connector is C1000 with the Mach 1000. That opens up the possibility that the prior owner damaged the wiper circuit when removing the radio.

Further, there are parts of the wiper control that pass through C1046 or C1220 depending upon which factory radio the car came with.

However, if this were my car, the fist test I would do is to determine if the wiper motor itself is good. The WH wire is for high speed and the DB/OG is low speed. The BK wire is ground.

The ground would be easy to confirm with an Ohm meter. Then the basic functional test can be done by jumping +12 volts directly to the wiper motor.

If the motor is good, additional trouble shooting steps would be needed. Have a set of wiring diagrams would be a big help. If interested in getting a copy for yourself I maybe able to help. PM if interested.
