What cam are you using with 1.7 rockers?

Previous owner had installed a tfs1 with 1.7RR, gt40 heads, crappy springs and stock pistons. Ptv clearance was ok, but my machinist said he didn't know how i hadn't been floating the valves. I ran the same setup with srs pistons and double springs after that, now run n41 with 1.7a and same srs pistons, but this combo will not work with stock pistons. The n21 and 1.7s should work with stock pistons and have same profile as n41 with 1.6s.

b cams are good if you run a supercharger or turbo power band between 3300-5100 rpm I prefer the E-303 rpm range 2500-5500 and it will shake your car like a harley. Every where I go people say that car sound awesome. Research it for yourself everyone will have a opinion.

Letter cams are 20 year old technology and I've never seen 2 lobes that matched up the same. Sure they make a lopey idle, if that is what you are looking for. I can name about 5 or 6 other cams that I would go with before one of those dinosaurs. MUCH better choices are TFS, Anderson or an Ed Curtis cam.

Not to hijack, but we years ago we picked up 2 tenths on a blower car switching from an F to an E. 10.5's w/ f cam and 10.3's w/ e cam and absolutly no other changes. They might be dinosaurs but they still get the job done
