Hey guys, Names damii. I just bought my mustang a couple days ago. Figured this would be a good place to get to know more about my car. To be honest i know nothing about it. I am hoping you guys can help me learn as I go, Without to much flaming. XD

The first question i have, If someone don't mind answering. What type of engine is in my car? it says V6 when i look at the cars specs. But that isn't a v6. lol ((there should be a picture attached to this somewhere of it)) Thanks ahead guys, I look forward to meeting you all. ((Sidenote, I know it needs work, I bought it to work on.))

Howdy! You are correct. It looks like a 302 or 5.0L. It also looks like it needs some accessories mounted and a belt It has a 3G alternator and an MSD ignition. Get over on the tech forum and start your project!

Haha, I knew it needed a belt. but mounted Accessories and have i no idea if a 3g alternator is good or bad. My buddy said the MSD ignition was a good thing, but no idea what it does. Like i said. I know nothing but i am attempting to learn. xD and alright i will, Just trying not to spam XD
