Hello guys, I wanted to ask everyone how much would you pay for 91 LX roller in excellent condition with 8.8 rear end. The vin matches a v8. So the question is how much would you pay?

In nice shape with grey interior and because its a coupe with a v8 vin $1000

With black interior and in good shape $1200

Interior for me has always been the main selling/buying point!! Might even pay a bit more if it was flawless black interior. After converting my car over to black interior i have no idea how i even dealt with the grey!!!

Depends on what all it comes with, but if we're talking true roller, as in a bare shell that has enough suspension under it to roll and steer, never more than $1000, and that's with the roller equipment being nice aftermarket pieces on a nice-paint, no-wreck car. If you start to include interior, wiring, etc., I'd go up to $1500 if everything was mint. The VIN means nothing to me buying a roller, probably destined to be a racecar. Cages can be either or. Most are no-details bolt in kits that lower its value because it will need to be cut out or redone. The rare certified with paperwork to pass tech cages can increase the value some.

Me personally, it's all about the paint, color and interior, everything else can be fixed or repaired easily.
Besides, most stuff you will probably replace anyway.
A paint job costs more than most complete cars are worth, so i'd avoid that at all costs.

A black with black interior coupe in excellent condition i'd pay quite a bit for.
But an undesirable (to me at least) color or red interior car, i wouldn't pay anything at all for.

LOL there is a guy in the 5.0 forums for sale is 89 roller vert with 89k the guy wants 9k LOL maybe he read this thread for advice ...

if it had everything I wanted in a car and was in great shape... between 1000 and 1500 tops.

if it was an original 5 speed and is only missing the motor and trans that helps a ton.

I'm a bit surprised at the $1k responses, seems to me a nice and straight coupe (or hatch for that matter) with good paint, interior, and suspension setup less an engine and trans would be worth more than $1k but that's just me.

Most of the time on these sites, a "roller" involves a ton more work than dropping in an engine/trans/driveshaft and going to inspection.
