What ranger of years for the v6 3.8 l cylinder heads are compatible?

I'm going to assume you mean "range" as the "Ranger" had a 4.0L, thus none of the heads would be compatible with the 3.8L in the Mustang.

As far as the 3.8L goes. I believe all 3.8L heads are compatible with the Mustang, provided they were removed from a RWD block.
