Ok, on to my next issue with this car... It drives around town fine, drives great on the highway too. However, both times I have been on the highway, riding around 70mph for around 20+ miles, when I slow down to get off the highway, the car stalls. It did it again today, I was going down the left lane around 70mph and had driven a distance of around 25 miles, and had to slow down, when I let off the gas and pressed the clutch, the car stalled. I was able to immediately restart the car and continue the drive. The rest of the trip, about another 20 miles, no issues, even when slowing and exiting the highway and resuming stop and go city driving. So far it has never stalled on me any other time. Any ideas what is causing this?

Are you using underdrive pulleys? On my old sn-95 i had the frpp pulleys on. A couple times it stalled in a similar fashion. I had the radio on, wipers, lights etc. Just didnt have enough juice i assume.

You guys with idle/stall problems could save a lot of time chasing your tails if you would go through the Surging Idle Checklist. Over 50 different people contributed information to it. The first two posts have all the fixes, and steps through the how to find and fix your idle problems without spending a lot of time and money. I continue to update it as more people post fixes or ask questions. You can post questions to that sticky and have your name and idle problem recognized. The guys with original problems and fixes get their posts added to the main fix. :D:

It's free, I don't get anything for the use of it except knowing I helped a fellow Mustang enthusiast with his car. At last check, it had more than 125,000 hits, which indicates it does help fix idle problems quickly and inexpensively.
