My car is running like crap. I replaced the plugs, wires, coil, distributor cap and rotor. The car has good fuel pressure, the MAF is clean. I cleared the ecu and then ran the car for a while again. The car is throwing code 172 and 176 (left and right bank lean) and code 332 (insufficient flow to the EGR). Where do i go from here?

Could the EGR make it throw the lean codes? Just sorta at a loss as to what to do next...Not sure if EGR is that big of a deal on this car, that it would make it run :poo:ty or what. I've ripped emissions out of previous cars with no issues...

Yes, the EGR valve gets full of crap over time. It might be that the valve is stuck and unable to close. I would take if off and inspect it. Unfortunately cleaning it usually doesn't work. You usually have to replace the darn thing. It could also be the controls for the EGR valve, but much more likely to be the valve itself.

O2 sensors are a consumable item. If they've seen 60k miles they should be replaced. With a lean code the PCM is adding fuel to correct the commanded AFR. Overly rich will cause the car to run like crap.

Just and update. After replacing a myriad of sensors, finally narrowed the problem down to the Distributor. It was getting spark scatter at around 3500 rpm and trying to fire all cylinders at the same time. New distributor, no problem! Thanks for all the help.
