Ok my 03 gt is pretty much all stock except for exhaust and knn air filter. I've only had this car a few months and it runs great except for one day after backing out and going into first at bout 2g it cut out and bogged for a few seconds. After i let off the gas and tried again it was fine for a week then did it again the other day. What can cause this?and I get good gas mileage (stock gears) it came with nitto 555s I think they're 275s. My main question is on a warm dry day, she will not break loose for nothing, maybe a squeal goin into 2nd hard. If its cold and wet, u cant keep er staight lol. Like I said it runs good no bog or anything, is this just because of great grip, stock gears and motor? Also no cel, I've had tuneup, fuel filter, cleaned maf ect. Also 2000 Rpms at 70mph is stock gears right?

The bogged down feeling you felt was most likely the traction control doing its job. If your car is auto it most likely has a 3.27gear. This gear and a good set of treads, combined with a stock auto trans won't produce much wheel spin. When I bought mine it had some almost bald Falken's and would spin no problem. Once those were junked I put some mid grade Kumho's on her and was dissapointed on the lack of show smoke I could produce by just putting my foot down from a stop. Now that my trans is built and I have an amazing tune I have a feeling I'm gonna be investing on some new shoes soon Lol. My GT also runs that rpm at 70. So I have a question for you... do those nitto 555s fit on stock gt rims?

First thing I do after start is shut the tc off. It's actually a bit dangerous when pulling into traffic quickly and slip the tires abit. Damn thing falls on it's face with on coming traffic.

My car is a 5spd and yes the nittos r on the stock rim. Also I wasn't accelerating hard at all and it was dry out when it bogged. It did feel like tc kicked in for no reason.

When the tc comes on a little light on the inst cluster comes on. Little green wheel...If your not seeing that, it's something else.
