Idle Issues

I have a 94 Cobra and after getting gas yesterday it started idling at 400-500. Turned the car off, turned it back on and it seemed fine for a moment but then it started idling at 1500. Anybody know what the problem is?

Usually it's the Idle Air Controller is all gummed up. It's a pretty common problem. You can try and clean it out with some throttle body cleaner, but the only permanent fix is too replace it.

Thanks! Could it do that at any time or just when the engines hot? It had been running for awhile before I got gas and it started acting up.
