Engine 06 Mustang Gt Engine Noise Clunk Or Wobble - Please Watch

On my 06 GT with 160k miles, I'm getting kind of a rattle / wobble / clunk sound coming from the engine. It sounds like it is at the very front of the motor. I can't see anything loose or anything obvious. It only does it at idle, with the Air Conditioning off. With the A/C on, it is virtually gone (although I have heard it once or twice very slightly). Any help or observations would be great!

Hummm......sounds like a sticking lifter! Does it get better when the car is warm? Have you checked your oil and or changed it recently? Will it do it just off idle? Let me know

It sounds like your cam phasers may just be starting to fail. Go to Youtube and search for videos of "3V cam phaser" and you can hear what it sounds like when they fail. How many miles does your car have?

My 2008 gt is doing the same thing. But hasn't thrown a code. Is that common ?
