I'm in the process of trying to figure out if I should buy a 2014 RS3 or GT500. The RS3 I'm looking at has all options except the aluminator and is in the 58k range.

I see alot of people saying they would buy the GT500 but I have yet to find one for the price I can get the RS3.

Also what is the re-sales value donw the road on each.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated?

from what i have heard from the local dealerships they list the GT500's 10k over sticker price. I don't know if other dealers or audi dealers do the same thing with the RS3 something to look into. Test drive both car if you haven't done so already, because both are completely different from one another. if you want a tire shredding beast, that will basically destroy almost any car on the road that surprisingly isn't effective by the gas guzzler tax then get the Shelby. If you want what im assuming to be a better everyday car that has massive understeer but has a higher maintenance cost then pick the Audi

Thank you for the reply. I was actually talking about a Roush Stage 3 mustang in lieu of the Audi. I should have been clearer.

Thank you.

I bought a '11 Stage 2 that I upgraded by installing a Roush supercharger; later I upgraded to 625 hp. I am now looking to pull my engine and replace it with the forged piston aluminator. IMHO the basic 5 liter may be marginal when it comes to aggressive driving ( I guess we all like to step on it at times). I'd go with the aluminator block as it is beefed up to handle the increase in power. With reference to the GT 500, I prefer the handling characteristics of the Roush suspension. BTW, a friend of mine bought his 2nd 500, had it for 3 months and traded it in on a Roush of the same year.
