Valves Ticking Lash Adjust? Oil?

So Ive been researching this for a while now. im getting this ticking noise for the pass side, it increases with RPM and is getting louder and louder. Ive been using motorcraft synthetic blend 5w 20 since I bought ive about a year and a half ago and 20k less... seems like some common problems with Lincoln/merc/crown vics are the oil restrictors being clogged with gasket material or something similar or is it more likely lashing?

I checked all the plug torques aswell

You've got BBK LTs: Are you sure you don't have a header leak?

I was thinking that as well. Did install them myself and god was it a BITCH I havnt retorqued them. Wouldn't a leaking header be really loud?

Can sound just like a valve tick.

just got in did a cold start and noticed smoke coming from firewall on the side making noise. smelled like oil burning but cleared out in a couple mins
