Just finishing up a h/c/I install on my car. I just put the upper Intake on today and now there is a ton of slack in my throttle cable. It is a holley systemax intake and I'm using an elbow adapter so everything should be in near stock location. Anyone ever have this problem? If so what did you do about it?

There's slack even on stock set-ups. Guys have shimmed the cable behind the gas pedal to help remove the amount of free play that the gas pedal has before it turns the throttle bell.

Just be sure (before doing anything like that) that when your gas pedal is matted (as the car sits now), that the TB butterfly is open all the way. If not, something else needs to be done (the cable needs to be shorter, etc).
