hello all,
i have a 09 mustang gt premium 40k miles on it
recently i have noticed that it is hard to turn the steering wheel when driving, its almost as if my 2 front tires are going flat its seems to get a little better at higher speeds but still not what it should be. now im having trouble diagnosing what that problem is some say bad steering fluid, i have flushed it and re filled and the problem still persist. there is no vibration in the steering wheel and the power steering pump is not making any abnormal sounds i still am able to achieve full range in turning. the car also does not lead from side to side when driving and taking my hands off the wheel but if i take a 90 degree corner the steering wheel doesnt come back on its own

any help or suggestions would be great before my troubleshooting gets to costly
thanks alex

Hello alex bro,

Welcome to the forum! My name is Deysha with Ford Service. Since this concern can be caused by different things, I recommend speaking to your Service Manager. He/she is in the best position to let you know if there is work needed, and about coverage you may have for it (warranty, recall, etc.).

Let me know the outcome.

well this was a quick turn around! just for the hell of it because the ford dealerships/ repair shops in my area troubleshoot by going replacement crazy like i said in my first post "gets to costly" i took the car down to Firestone where i had purchased the new tires, the lead tech took the car for a spin and wouldnt you know it he came back and said all set! through a series of turns the system cleared its self up and im a much happy driver. so thanks Deysha for your input the cars running great now
