For those that have Mass air Conversion

I see, I see. OK, next question: I know I've read before that other cars outside the 5.0 cars use the same 70mm meter with the same sensor. Certain model year Crown Victorias, for example. I want to say that there was even a thread outlining the cross functionality of such meters. Anybody here have any information on this?

Sorry for the thread hijack, I figure this is in line with the topic at hand.

The 70MM 94-95 Mustang 5.0 MAF & sensor is also found on:
1994-95 Mustang 3.8L F2VF-12B579-A2A,
1992-94 Crown Victoria 4.6L F2VF-12B579-A2A,
1994-95 Mustang, Mustang Cobra 5.0L F2VF-12B579-A2A,
1992-94 Town Car 4.6L F2VF-12B579-A2A,
1992-94 Grand Marquis 4.6L F2VF-12B579-A2A,
Evidently the –A1A, -A2A, AA, etc. on the end of the part number is a minor variant that did not change the operating specs. You should be able to ignore it and have everything work good.

I cant rember any noticeable changes at the time but I did this the same time I put in my built 306. I was changing so much I thought it was a good time to convert, and I had all the parts all I had to buy was some wiring for the computer. This was back in '03, dam it's been ten years...
