Distributor Install Question

Just got a new billet distributor, the factory one's shaft is starting to squeal. Not bad for 19 years!!!!

Need to know what's the best thing to put on the distributor gear before I drop it in??? Regular oil, break-in oil, or some kind of cam lube??

Nothing. There is plenty of oil on the camshaft already.

I always use assembly lube when installing a distributor.
