The UN Treaty that was signed far exceeds anything that was attempted or actually passed here as far as gun control. This country is under the false pretense that it is on it's way to recovery. It is government stimulus funds that prop up the stock market and allow people to keep pumping money into it and having it set record highs. Once the stimulus money stops ( if it does ) the market will tank. Once china decides to cash in all all of the debt owed to them by the US the economy will plummet. The reason I believe all that Ammo was bought up by Homeland Security is b/c they are well aware what can happen and they know we are not far off from the tipping point if the right thing goes wrong.

This will never happen. The Chinese have more to lose than we do in this scenario. If the U.S. ever defaults, what do you think would happen to the Chinese economy? Make no mistake, the Chinese have us EXACTLY where they want us. Making just enough to cover our debts in GNP. The U.S. gets economically weaker while it's a freaking PAYDAY every day for the Chinese. They don't want us to fail. They don't want us winning either. They like things the way that they are until they're strong enough to take over the world.

Edit: I'm sure that you've all heard the saying, "He who has the most toys, wins." Well it's true. Right now, the Chinese can afford to buy more toys than we can.

I never said it would happen, its just an example of what extents they are willing to try. No treaty over rides the constitution anyway.

Remington R1

I would take a sig 1911 over a R1 all day. Don't get me wrong the R1 is nice (very nice actually) but it doesn't have anything on the Sig. I've shot both and both were nice but the Sig just more of a pleasure to shoot. recoil was similar, grouping was similar, action on the sig was smoother as was the trigger. Sig was more comfy.

what sucks is I just bought a house and cant afford either!

congrats on the house Mike!
I've been looking at .45s for quite a while. Was actually looking at the Springfield XDM45 moments ago. Ruger also has a nice 45. Shopping is fun, buying is all together different.

My 15 round mag for my M&P .40 came yesterday. They had been on back order forever through mideway USA but they finally got them in stock a few days ago. I jumped on it and bought one. Cabales also has a nice selection of hand gun and rifle mags ( AR / AK ) For some reason my AR does not like the Magpul mags very much so I think I might hold onto them until the next crisis and sell them and just keep buying metal / aluminum ones. I need to pick up some 20 rounders anyway b/c when shooting at a range the 30 round mags hit the bench if your sitting and shooting
