Fragments Of The Holy Grail Found In Western Pa

From what I heard the turbo GTs weren't intercooled whereas the SVOs were(correct me if I'm wrong). But neither were much better than the 5.0 GTs if at all.

Yes, the SVO's were intercooled, but more than that they were the result of a rare planetary alignment where the driving enthusiasts within Ford engineering and development won their internal battles and got to take a car to market with unique bits like pedals better placed for heel & toe, 5-lug wheels with 4-wheel discs, a nicer steering wheel, nicer seats, and better geometry. The result was a car that was remarkably balanced for its time, from a real driver's standpoint, could turn fantastic road course lap times right out of the box, but then Ford put the fuelie 5.0 in a less-capable chassis, ate the SVO's lunch as far as cost and acceleration were concerned, and the general motoring public yawned at the SVO and fawned over the 5.0. The hot-shoe engineers who succeeded in selling the "refinement" program only to see it get curb-stomped by the "cheap and raw" program probably never got over it.

I don't think so. Most collections are stored away where nobody can see them. These are on display for anyone in the general public to come and view.

I thought it was great.

That 94' Cobra is almost complete, where's the wheel caps?

The 93' is my fav of course and what an awesome collection. I don't think these cars will bring big money in the future but will be a well respected collection to have and will appreciate in value slowly but surely.

Wheel caps are in the trunk. That car was never dealer prepped. It sits as it did the day that it shipped from the factory.

The 93 currently appraises for $40+k for a collector.

Pretty sure that 94 Cobra is a pace car that was never prepped. The wheels give it away. Pace cars had the painted inserts while regular Cobras were unpainted. In "96, the painted versions were on all

I don't think those are painted centers. They are removed or not installed. I'm pretty sure they were in the trunk.

Just saw this though:

I dunno if the "Cobra Indy" entry carries any clues.
