Anyone Have The Factory Puddle Lamps

i recently installed the pony puddle lights and im wondering if anyone has them and can check if there 6 volt or 12?i hooked in 4 resistors to each side just in case and they seem like should be brighter.i figured each resistor dropped it 1.5 volt so there receiving about 6 volt..any help appreciate it

Why would you think they'd be 6 volts? Nothing is 6 volts. there are some things that use a 5 volt reference and such but nothing is powered by less than 12, afaik.
