I'm going to start by telling you guys what I know.
Had the car for about a year now.
It's an 89 lx 5.0
New crate engine
Full msd
Eldenbrock performer rpm intake
Gt40 head
Bbk shortys rest of exhaust is shot
Blue top injectors I think 24#
70 mm tb and pro m maf with bbk cai
Front brakes are aftermarket don't know brand but drilled slotted
Blue springs again don't know the brand.
Subframe connectors
Car runs great
And some other things I'm sure I'm forgetting.
Got the car for 1800

What I would like to know is there a stamp on my block somewhere to I'd the type of crate engine in it?

And in the front suspension on the passenger side it feels like a caliper is hanging up but I inspected and it's fine what else could it be?

There will be more once I actually get digging into this car I'm sure hopefully to get time in the next few months but trying to gather parts now.
I'd like to replace all the bushings in the suspension
Fix the electrical mess
New shocks
New back brakes/upgraded if I can peace together the tb sc parts
Exhaust.

I can't answer the engine ID question. However, I can take a stab at your brake situation.

I assume by "hanging up" you mean that it feels like the front passenger-side caliper sticks a bit after releasing the brake pedal? If so, your problem is likely the pistons in the caliper becoming stuck in their bores under braking. This can happen over time. You have three options that readily come to mind: purchase a caliper rebuild kit and rebuild the caliper yourself; purchased a remanufactured caliper and install it; take it as an opportunity to replace your brakes completely and perhaps even swap to 5-lug while you're at it.

Here's a link to the Ford crate engine: http://www.fordracingpartsdirect.com/Ford_Racing_340HP_Crate_Engine_Assembly_p/m-6007-x302.htm
Now, if you have GT40 cast iron heads; it's either got to be an "old stock" FRPP crate engine or simply an engine a shop put together for the person whom owned the car. They should have a receipt & should be able to tell you where they bought it from. If not, odds are they are blowing smoke up your a.... Blue top injectors are 30lbs per hour units. If I were in your shoes, I'd remove the passenger side kick panel & see if there is a chip inserted into the computer(that'd be a good thing). There won't be any stamp on the block if it's a FRPP\Ford motor. If it has brass medallions attached to the freeze plugs on the heads and or block; it's simply a re-manufactured motor & it could have been done by any machine shop in the whole U.S. of A. I'd recommend bleeding the brake system before spending any money on anything. If it still gives you trouble afterwards; then removing the caliper to see if a guide pin is bent or needs to be greased up would be my next guess. Light blue springs=BBK. One last thought; please fix everything that's worn or broken before getting the horsepower bug & blowing all your dough on high performance parts! ;)

Searched my injectors online they are 24#

With everything on the engine and being that's it is fresh should be good for me for a while. I have 347 that my mom is currently using in a turbo setup that hopefully I'll get when my stepdad gives her his 408

Yes, I appologize for the misinformation! (Late night, 12 hour work day, the 6-pack of bud didn't stand a chance....). Sounds like you have quite the interesting family there! you might just have to post up pic's of thier rides too! ;)

Well I never get to join in any of the fun. I'm currently stationed in Ca. I got 2 rugrats so I can't even come close to them. Bit one day lol. My stepdad is working on my 62 falcon slowly till I get out.
Hopefully one day the FAA will approve UAVs in reg airspace so I can make the good money when I get out.

Sorry bro, I love the military (we are a military family) but I hope they don't approve drones flying over my house or anyone elses in the USA. Keep them flying in the middle east.

A 62 Falcon is sweet too, my fav is 64-65

Well everyone gets into the wrong details about drones. The FAA approval would be for the use of news, police work, fire fighters, wildlife and game, and package delivery. Hell boarder pattroll already uses drones over us.

At least that's what they tell us they're being used for.

Anyways, have you taken your front wheel off yet to inspect the brake assembly and the tie rods for anything that could be causing your concern?
