New Heads And Same Inlet Tract. No New Power? Wtf??? O_o

Ill bet you at 14 degrees that car wakes up and your telling me the rear end gears are stock? Thats another issue then because that cam is not in its working range where you are gonna feel the power. The car will feel like a dog if it isnt geared right

Whats the cc's on the 'X' heads?? ...You probably need more timing for the combustion chamber and a 75mm maf also.
I meant to touch on this too if they are the 64 cc version they may keep it right at stock comp ratio if not drop it which without boost or more timing its not helping the situation either

question....how will those 3.73 gears work with my full valve body shift kit??
has nothing to do with your TRANS it will shift and behave as it does now . the rear gear will get you into
the power band and through the shifts much faster but most of all efficiently with your combo that you have .

All things being the same and you added GT40x heads and intake over stock and not seeing any difference... and people are seriously suggesting that that gears/MAF/injectors.. etc etc are the problem ?? You need to throw more aftermarket parts at it ?

HELL NO - it's not an issue of what parts you have, that combo should be making more butt-dyno power easily than what you had previously.
Something is wrong, start with all the basics. Agree on doing the cylinder balance test, but after I did my heads and I was trying to find what was wrong the balance test did not uncover a bad spark plug I had, so no guarantees there. Things can act differently under load than at no load test conditions like the balance test. Especially spark related items. So start with that test, if it passes, it probably rules out injectors (fuel). So then concentrate in spark, make sure your plugs are good, sounds like you got new plugs and wires.. are they the right plugs ?? Recheck all the connections and do them up with dielectric grease.

Is your idle OK ?? If so then probably not a vac leak, otherwise look for that.

19lb and stock pump is probably fine for the combo.

Concentrate on the stuff that actually changed (including any new parts etc that may have not been put in quite right), assuming is ran as well as could be expected before the swap was done.

Also, after going through codes... Don't forget about dumb stuff too, like did you put the plug back into the distributor after setting the timing ? Did you tighten it down ?
Put the vac line on the fuel pressure regulator ? Have all injectors plugged in ? Just try to go from air intake to exhaust and check every connection make sure you didn't miss anything obvious.
