Wiper Issues

I've included a picture of the part. I appears that the plastic bushing is just worn out. Does someone make this bushing? Do I need to purchase the entire assembly? Would one of the clips that hold the other end of this to the motor work? Unfortunately all it takes is driving at freeway speeds and gravity and this falls off. Living in the NW rain is almost a daily event.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks everyone.

Yea, I've seen this, and just wondered if the little plastic removable sockets were made by someone. When I wrote "Would one of the clips that hold the other end of this to the motor work?" this clip was what I was referring to. Thanks Jarrod for the fast response, still not sure if the clip will work in this pivot position.

Actually, if this part is the part I am thinking about, I zip tie should work.

Normally not the kinda guy who would recommend a zip tie. But this happened to me when I was driving, pulled over under cover, figured the problem, fixed the issues. Lasted me another three years, then I sold the car.

For some reason, I can't see the picture of the part you posted. I was going to try and assist, as I just had to deal with wiper issues myself. I had to replace the motor as well as the transmission / linkage assembly. I'm currently in possession of the old assembly, but not sure if it has what you need or not.

If you have already resolved this, great! If not, let me know and I'll be happy to see if what I have may help you.
