Where Are The Signals Supposed To Be?

Just bought a foxbody coupe back in november, and am starting to get into it. We just replaced the headlights, got em all hooked up and tried the signals out.. the signals are on the inside of the headlight, rather than the outside. Is this where the foxbody signal light should be? I'm thinking there's a wiring issue considering there is no other way I could have fit the bulb into the light. Here's an example, I put the arrow pointing at the light which is signalling.

bet it could be flipped some how, run that harness to that side extend them etc, if you got creative.

Whoo, that's a relief.. Haha that's pretty odd though, have never seen it on the inside.

The Front and Rear use the outside for the Marker Lights.

There is a way to use relays to alternate the inner and outer lights. The outside light would simply blink on and off alternating the inner light. Back in the late 90's this was popular thread.

No relays necessary to alternate. A simple jumper wire between the inner and outer parking lights will do it. Very similar to the below link, just opposite.

When the parking lights are off, both bulbs will blink at the same time. They will only alternate when the parking lights are on.
