Monday will be 3 weeks and the supercharger hasn't been shipped yet. At least I don't think it has anyway. Vortech wouldn't give me any info since its a 3rd party sale. Sucks

Did you already pay for the kit? I'd be on the phone with the vendor. It's not like they have to custom make these kits. No way in hell would I wait 3 weeks. That is why I hate using these small drop ship vendors. They have your money now and you have to deal with this BS.

Yep paid for... Vortech did say they were behind due to tax season and increased sales. But yeah they I roll my eyes when they say they're "assembling kits." Packaging sh*t together rather.

I bought my last Vortech kit from them and it was here by the end of the same week.

If so, they are really good about having "people" ship goods that have been paid for by "them".

I hate to say but everything that Vortech sends out the door is assembled to order. If a head unit is not sitting on the shelf ready to go in a box with all of the associated parts then that needs to get put together too. This goes for every single kit they offer and includes their race head units. There is a reason that the quality you receive is second to none but that sure doesn't excuse long lead times to get the items. I'm sure some of the Big Box retailers (summit or jegs) may stock certain kits on the shelf but who knows how long they have been sitting there either? Most retailers drop ship direct when it comes to this kind of stuff and are truly are at the mercy of the company. I sure hope that this doesn't set you off down the wrong path with switching to forced induction. While I can attest to getting ansy waiting on certain parts too I'm always glad in the end that I didn't sacrifice quality over getting something quickly.

I'm making no excuses for Vortech or anyone here. My best advice @90lxwhite is to call Kris@AllOut and have him call Vortech.

I will apologize for him if he sounded irratable, I know with the new baby and the shop being busy with the weather breaking things have been a little hectic.
