Very true. I will ask my wife to send a pic of the upper intake when she wakes up. My plan is to build an all motor GT40 Mustang. I guess you can say I am being a stickler for using all ford parts. And Personally I like the way the tubular GT40 intake looks and the gaps between intake runners helps disburse heat so i guess its a win/win situation. Here is a pic similar to the intake I just bought.

I did the same thing, every part on my h/I/c is ford, cobra upper/lower, gt40p heads, 1.6 blue ford rockers.
But I feel a tubular gt40 is an investmant too, one day that sh!t will be through the roof. Yes you paid top money now but the ported lower really helps that purchase out in the investment that you can actually use now. Porting is $$$ it always is.

I'm also thinking of finding a tubular upper that I can swap my cobra upper with and get the cobra one powder coated and have two intake looks when I want to change it up from time to time.
