Fresh Engine. Low Compression

the car would not start without the chip. lightning maf is not sized to an injector the program has to be written to the injector size.
No damage possible from a supposed 'wash down' as he calls it. I'm awaiting the base cause of the problem right along with the rest of you. :p
what else would cause fuel in the oil? i would llike to know. if you have another explaination. lets hear it.
For what its worth the oil on the cylinder wall acts as a substrate and the rings hydroplain across that substrate, without the oil on the wall the rings are subject to metal on metal contact wich in turn causes alot of wear fast.
More than likely the wash down occured after the damage was done i will only know aftwr the teardown.

I'm not seeing the PTV clearance as being checked properly. It has no compression. Bent valves? Timing chain jumped? Back the rockers off on one cylinder and air that cylinder up. See where the air comes out. Intake..Exhaust..or crankcase. The fuel in the oil is because it isn't burning it. It either is getting a ton of fuel and no spark or compression or it bent the valves causing no compression..OR it jumped time. Wind #1 to TDC and pull the cap and see where the rotor points. If the timing events are off it will wash the cylinders down.

This is all the information you need to have for right now.
Everything else is just over complicating the situation. Troubleshoot 1 thing at a time.
Hopefully it's a cheap fix!

If i had to guess id also go with bent valves. The way i read the posts, the PTV clearance failed with stock pistons and he didnt check PTV clearance with the new pistons because those same pistons cleared with a .620 lift cam. Lift isnt the only factor on PTV clearance unfortunately.

yes i did check to see if the dizzy moved to. even had a couple friends come over and help. they said it was just a ford thing:rolleyes:. #$%#*$& chevy guys. although i still havent ruled bent valves out. i hope its not i Spent weeks porting the heads.

I will add that when I started my brand new setup for the first time, it was running so rich that my eyes were watering. The plugs were wet and black and the dipstick wreaked of fuel. I changed the oil and there was at least a half quart of fuel in the oil. I leaned things out and started it again and it ran much stronger. No signs of compression issues. I also believe you may have something else going on here.
