Tool and Die Maker, hopefully soon to be Die Engineer at Tyco Electronics.. Good money but 1 kid, soon to be 2 in daycare...that kills your bank account..

I know what you mean, I have a 5 y/o son and twin 10 month old girls. Worth every penny but doesn't leave much for my 5.o fetish. I'll be happy this fall when my son starts Kindergarten and I save about $700 per month for his pre-K education.

Seriously the cars I build are put into production a few years later

Awesome.. tell me you weren't that guy would wanted to turn the Mustang into a Taurus..lol

I'll be Nashville next week.

I used to turn wrenches when I was a pup for Union Ford after going to Lincoln Tech and then was ASE in a few areas. Started as "C" mechanic while in school and worked up to an "A". Got tired of doing it for a living- fun to do as a hobby and also saw I was making $15 an hour and the shop was getting $40 an hour.

Now I work in data, fraud, risk management for a large company and work with all the major captive lenders. Can't say much more about what I do or I'd have to kill all of you.,lol

Damn most of y'all work either in manufacturing or computers.

Seeing as im the thread starter and i havent divulged anything, ill play.

I work for the worlds largest contract security company. Been in the field for the last 5 years. Doesnt even pay the bills, but its a job. Still waiting to land a position on a major contract. Would like to get into the Aviation field though.

I work at a Nasa Engine test facility, Stennis Space Center, just east of New Orleans. I work in the electronic calibration laboratory, mostly these days writing calibration procedures. It can be pretty boring some days, others are too busy to even stop for lunch.

I work at nTelos Wireless, a regional cell phone service provider. I stand in a kiosk all day in a dead mall doing nothing. I literally get paid to stand here and be bored... In a month I'll be in the Airforce for Radio Frequency Transmissions working on Radio and Satellite Communications. Can't wait to be un-bored lol...

I would've loved that. Never joined the military but I got into amateur radio just because I spent so much time as a kid listening to shortwave and wondering not just what they were saying, but how on earth was I able to receive a signal from the other side of the planet. That fascinated me.

Best of luck to you.
