Progress Thread The Only Part Of A Chevy You Don't Have To Tow (until Now), Into An Sn95.

finished running a few grounds, wiring up the starter and some other small stuff and put 5 gallons of gas in the car. filled it with coolant and fired it up. Its open header right now which is causing the A/F to read 35:1. so the target AF learning mode had to be disabled below 1800rpm for me to get it to behave at all. Ive changed a few things and ended up running it up to about 4800 to datalog a small pull.

This is the first full dive ive taken into this sort of thing so im learning a lot as I go. Theres a lot to be changed but it ran suprisingly well.
Ive got to wire up the cooling fans, fix a coolant leak, move a few wires and set the starter to a momentary switch.
Im not far from actually driving it but theres a lot of little stuff to do.

video doesnt pull much passed a little blip, it was the second start up.

I wanna know where I can get a radiator mount bracket like the one you're using. That b itch is HEAVY DUTY!

P.S. I hope when I get mine running,..the datalog is as easy to read, and understand as the one you posted,........80 sec's run time, you see the engine crank at start up, and Idle throughout the time frame until you wing it at the end where fuel, and RPM spikes, MAP drops........
Idiot proof.

With the holley you can also set it to datalog at a given parameter on any sensor that the holley controls. So if you want it to datalog anytime the TPS goes over 80%, thats what it will do. It is pretty slick.

the exhaust has been hung. Streetability has been increased 100% and it should gain a lot less law enforcement attention. Its by no means quiet though, which is fine by me :nice:

If its hanging a little low in the pic, the rear hangers had yet to be hung.

The exhaust made my wideband(s) happy and i was able to tune in the idle and sub 2k rpm range.
Also, the other day on first start up I actually never set my FP, stupid move but I set it at 58psi today and everything kind of fell into place. I pulled a lot out of the afterstart enrichment table and it stopped burning my retinas. Still running very fat but that'll get dialed out as well once Im mobile.

I measured for my driveshaft (48.25") compared to the stock SN95 auto driveshaft of 45.5" (dont quote me there)
so ill call tommorow and have them get started on building the driveshaft.

Hopefully Ill get my fans wired up tommorow, im going to build a mounting plate for the fuel pump and wire up the momentary switch for my starter. maybe get started on these gauges

Buncha little crap to do but im actually back to enjoying it
