Nicely Built 1993 Ford Mustang Lx Coupe 5spd

I just don't see it as much of a street sleeper. I think it's more of a total sleeper. It's hard to make a 4.6 with power N/A. It was a truck engine Ford slapped in the Mustang so that they wouldn't have to build a performance engine. You can't fit a 4.6 in with conventional vacuum power brakes, that's why all the SN 4.6s had hydroboost.

If i remember right, the 05 and later GT's used a regular vacuum booster instead of hydroboost.

I'd need to see the quality of workmanship.

What i've found with magazine cars, having seen a few in person, is that they look professionally done from a distance, but whe you actually poke around, you do see a few corners cut here and there sometimes

I know alot of people with magazine cars and it's usually the case. Which doesn't bother me, i'm no pefectionist, that's for sure.

As for this car? It's nicely done. If it was a better powerplant i think the price would be well worth it. I also think de-sleepering it would help too. Why would i want a car that looks like my grandma owned it?

I really do think sleeper foxes are stupid. I'd think this guy had a 4cyl and not race him, so he'd let it rip, and i'd still be sitting there. Not sure what that proves, that i got tricked?

For some reason I reeeally like that car. I guess the "very capable" grandma car appeals to me. Already asked the wife and she said no!:(LOL
I agree that if it had a Coyote in it, it would have been a alot more appealing package. However, that engine would be alot of fun with a 100 hp kit installed.;)
