Hi, I recently purchased a 2000 mustang 3.8 base which has 177K miles on it. The car overall is in good shape with a new alternator, waterpump, compressor, belt, tires, etc....But I noticed a small oil leak behind the engine. What could it be? It's quite a sizeable puddle whenever I turn the engine off. It's a manual transmission so I guess it would be easy to get to sort of. Anyone have any ideas on how I can test or check the rear seal without taking out the transmission?
